The voice of
general aviation
in the Maltese islands.
AOPA Malta represents pilots, aircraft owners and enthusiasts who fly in, out and around Malta. We advocate, we brief, we gather — and we look out for our own airspace.
Why AOPA Malta exists.
Not a club, not a lobby group — the space in between. A collective the local GA community turns to for the things that need doing together.
Speak with one voice.
We engage Transport Malta, MIA and other stakeholders on the regulation, access and cost issues that shape GA on the islands.
Know before you fly.
Local procedures, airspace changes, weather patterns, handling notes — the kind of tacit knowledge that doesn't fit in the AIP.
Find your people.
Members' meetings, fly-outs, safety evenings and hangar talk. Where Malta's aviators actually meet.
Membership is open to anyone with skin in general aviation.
Whether you fly a Cessna out of LMML, own a share in a Piper, are working toward your PPL, or simply love watching aircraft over the Grand Harbour — you belong here.
Applications are reviewed by the committee. Once approved, you'll have access to the members' area: meeting agendas, event details, minutes, and the growing library of local briefings.
